Mask project
1. What does a mask do in Photoshop?
It shows what you have selected and what you havent selected.
2. In masks, what do the colors Red, Black and White represent?
The red represents what is not selected. The black takes away the things you dont want to be selected. The white fills in the things that are not in red that you want to select.

project #3

1) How do masks make the silhouette work? Masks make the silhouette work to make sure that the cutout is perfect and that the pictures fit into the cutout.
2) What images did you find to put inside your cutout?
I found the democratic symbol. I also found the slogan for Obama's campaign was Yes we Can. It stands for everything he is. I also found the no racism because him being president was a big step for the nation. It shows he overcame everyone that told him he couldn't be president just because of his color. He stands up for what he believes despite his color of his skin.
3) How did you get the letters to trace around the cutout?
I got the letters to trace around the cutout by making a work path. You make a work path by clicking on the panel that says paths. Then on the side it has a little symbol that you can click on. There will be many options but theres one that says to make a work path. When i clicked on it it made a path for me to write it around the cutout.
4) How satisfied were you with your silhouette and your letter tracing?
I was very satisfied with my silhouette and letter tracing because it cam e out good. The letter tracing came out great. You can understand what it says and what he stands for.

Lab 7
I used the clone tool to fix the rip in the bottom left corner. it is now replaced with grass. I also replaced the sprinklers in the picture with grass. Now it looks better and perfect. This tool can be useful if you want to fix the picture. For example if you have a picture that is ripped or missing something you can clone a part of it and replace it. Also if you want another copy of the picture.
